New Album Trigger-happy At The Seams Out March 9th On Stax Records
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats volition take their celebrated live evidence on the road this bound and summer with an extensive run of North American dates including stops at New York's Forest Hills Stadium, Los Angeles' Greek Theater, and Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The bout will support the band's highly anticipated new anthology, Tearing at the Seams , out March ixth, 2018 on Stax Records. The album is bachelor for pre-order HERE. Initial writing and recording sessions for Tearing at the Seams took place in Rodeo, New United mexican states where Rateliff & The Night Sweats re-established their dynamic off the stage and in the studio.
"For the starting time record, I demo'ed everything upwardly and created most of the parts," says Rateliff. "This time, I felt like we've all spent so much time on the road that nosotros should all go off somewhere together. We should all take that experience together." The band finished recording with producer Richard Swift—who has helmed records for The Shins and Foxygen in addition to The Nighttime Sweats' debut—collectively creating a grouping of songs that capture the band's emotion and intensity.
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Dark Sweats are: Rateliff (vocals, guitar), Joseph Pope III (bass), Patrick Meese (drums), Luke Mossman (guitar), Mark Shusterman (keys), Andy Wild (saxophone), Scott Frock (trumpet) and Jeff Dazey (saxophone).
The band continues to make an immediate and lasting impression on late nighttime idiot box with performances on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (twice), The Belatedly Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, CONAN, The Belatedly Late Evidence with James Corden, also as on PBS' Austin City Limits and A Prairie Home Companion. Terminal year, the ring released their first-ever full-length concert recording,Live at Cherry-red Rocks, featuring the Preservation Hall Jazz Ring. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nights Sweats' self-titled, 2015 debut album has sold one meg copies globally, and is certified Gold in the U.S., Kingdom of belgium, Switzerland and kingdom of the netherlands, Platinum in Canada and Silver in the U.K. Their striking single "South.O.B." is certified Platinum in the U.S. and Canada and Golden in Switzerland.
